Ingredients - 9 inch ready made pastry crust, 1 cup chopped ham, 1 cup chopped swiss cheese, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 5 eggs beaten, 2 c. light cream (I used 1 1/2 c. 2% milk instead),3/4 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper. Sprinkle it all evenly into pie crust. In med. bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt and cayenne pepper and pour over the other chopped ingredients in the pan. Bake 15 min. in the preheated 425 degree oven. After 15 minutes, reduce heat to 300 degrees (150 celcius) and bake an additional 30 minutes till knife inserted comes out clean. Allow quiche to sit 10 minutes before cutting into wedges.
