Ingredients - 1 cup soft butter, 2/3 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp. almond extract, 2 cups all purpose flour, seedless raspberry jam, apricot preserves.
Direstions - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 Celcius).
In medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar till smooth. Mix in flour slowly untill dough forms. Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Make a small hole in the center of each ball with your finger or thumb, and fill each hole with the jam or preserves. Bake for 14 to 18 minutes in preheated oven, or untill slightly browned. Let cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
