Hi ~ I want to thank everyone for your beautiful comments and all of your support you gave me when Quigley died. He was a wonderful friend and companion to my husband and I and he will be missed terribly. When we were at the vets and he was falling "asleep" he looked into our eyes and wagged that tail of his - right until the end, as if to say "Thank you Mom and Dad for not letting me suffer anymore"! As soon as his little heart stopped, a steady stream of bright red blood poured out of his nose. The vet told us that was all coming from his lungs. Even in death, Quigley gave us a sign that we did the right thing, so that we wouldn't feel guilty. I'll always carry the beautiful memories we had with him in my heart forever. Thank you all for your wonderful comments, messages, PM's, and it meant so much to me and helped me at such a sad time. Love you all! Hugs, Colleen xox :)
