Ladies, don't let people tell you what to strive for because of the color of your skin. Indeed, just because we are black does not mean we are running in the same race. As you see by watching the Olympics, I salute my Jamaican and Kenyan runners; however, someone running in a marathon is not going to train like someone running the 200 meter dash. Amen. So ask yourself what race are you training for, and train accordingly. If you want to be a doctor, stop hanging around people who want to twerk all day. If you want to be chemist, then stop hanging around people who sleep until 12PM. Who does that? Make friends from all different walks of life who are training to compete in the race you are running. AMEN.
