The BEST IN DRAG SHOW is a huge fundraising charity event benefiting AID FOR AIDS that happens in LA every October. I have had the opportunity to help build the characters' overall look by painting faces for the show every year for the last decade.

I was ecstatic when my incredibly talented graphic designer and friend Stephen Molinaro (www.theuniversaleye.com) auditioned to compete as Miss New Jersey and was picked to join the talented group of final contestants on the night of the show. The makeup you are about to see is inspired by all the glamorous Jersey girls that love big hair and want to look like JLo and Kim Kardashian. This is Vava Fanculo- Miss New Jersey my contestant and creation. Enjoy!

Mathias Alan's masterful artistry is illuminated in the craft of manipulating and contouring features and faces so the eye, camera or human, sees only the shapes and highlights you want it to see. With a master craftsman's eye for color theory, painting and his skills in blending on the human canvas, Mathias is accomplished in the art of makeup, illusion and artifice from Couture Contouring for the Red Carpet to the fantastical theatrical art of
Cirque du Soleil.
Currently Mathias is the key makeup/hair artist on E Television's, The Soup, with Joel McHale, as well as one of the leads on The Fashion Police, with Joan Rivers. Mathias' work has also been featured on OWN, The Style Network, Access Hollywood, MTV, TLC, and multiple Bunim/Murray Productions. Some of his print credits include Glamour, IN Touch Weekly, OK Magazine, and he has recently served as the Beauty Director for
BELLO Magazine.
Some of his clients have included Cote De Pablo, Louise Roe, Willa Holland, Ashley Greene, Evan Rachel Wood, Katie Cassidy, Betsy Brandt, Kelly Hu, Camilla Luddington, Dania Ramirez, Zachary Levi, Evan Peters, Nick Wechsler, Redfoo, Will.i.am, Joe Manganiello, and Kathy Griffin. Mathias has built a strong network of personal clients, publicists, photographers, directors, and producers. He continues to seek out successful,
