Delightful in Lilac Evening Dress

After having a seamstress refit my favourite Gina Bacconi lilac evening dress, I had to try it on to see how it looks. I'm rather happy with it — the seamstress executed my orders to perfection, and now this dress doesn't 'flatten' my 'generous bosom' as it once did!

I'm also trying new makeup from Kryolan. Unfortunately, I bought a shade that is too light for me. I've since corrected the mistake, but this video still shows me with a Zombie look, appropriate for Halloween, but not for an evening out. Oh well. I hope to do better next time!

Showing off a pair of heels I got from AndyPola. That's a Spanish shop which also ships worldwide (with locations in the US and elsewhere outside Europe, so you won't pay extra duty taxes). They have an astonishing collection with hundreds or perhaps thousands of designs in large numbers. It's unbelievable! Actually, I have known them for a year or so, but their previous website was rather hard to search for what I wanted. This pair was on sale with a 50% discount which made the price absurdely low and I couldn't resist!

Oh, and no, they are not made in China. Spain, if you don't know, has one of the largest European shoe manufacturing industries, and has consistently, for the past two decades or so, produced some of the most wonderful and durable shoes. And they are usually cheap and made by good designers.

I shot this video when coming back from a short drive around, but I cheated; it was actually too chilly for this kind of outfit, and I was wearing a faux fur jacket, which I didn't show on this video. Actually, it was not cold enough for fur, but you know how it is: it's better to be a bit warmer than too cold!

And, of course, for this elegant dress, I just had to use an elegant long holder to match :)
