I did a little shopping at Target a week ago and found this electric silver owl candle wax warmer that would look perfect in my office. Candle wax warmers comes in two forms to melt the candle melts by a lightbulb or a tea light. My owl has a light bulb so when I turn it on, the belly lights up just like in this video and warms up the cute candle melts aka tart melts to throw scent into the air. It will fill a room just like a traditional candle with a wick.

I always light a candle in my office white editing as my aromatherapy. I sets the mood for me and makes me feel so relax. Who doesn't like a home that smells wonderful? Candle melts are a great way to change up candle scents so I thought why not make candle melts aka tart warmers for cheap. In this video, you will see two ways to make them. The first method is to up cycle a Bath and Body Work's candle. The second way is make candle melts under .50 cents from scratch with soy wax. This can be a cute holiday gift idea for candle fanatics =)

- Recycled an old BBW Bahama Fizz Candle
- Soy Wax and you can use any type of candle wax like bees wax or paraffin wax. I choose soy because it's vegan friendly, cheap, burns longer than other waxes, and burns cleaner to be non-toxic.
In the video, I used Ecosoya CB135 but it didn't give the best throw. I recommend Soy Wax 464 Blend for a great and strong scent throw.

Soy Candle Melt Recipe to Make 5 to 8 Candle Melts
-16 oz or 1 lb of Soy Wax
-1 to 2 oz of Candle Fragrance Oil ( Depends on how strong the scent is. If it's really strong then use 1 ounce of fragrance oil.)
-Few Drops of Candle Dye or Oil Pastel Crayon
