Moving forward with my Anatomy of a Pin Up series, today we're breaking down foundation. Starting a conversation about foundation or "base" is like opening a can of worms. Everyone is on the quest for the holy grail, but everyone's expectations and needs are different. Google "Foundation Routine" and you'll get 75 million results. So if there is one thing I want you to take away from this, it's that there is no one perfect way to do foundation, a great look can be achieved in endless different ways. And can we stop the skin shame? Sheer isn't better than full coverage, or vice versa; While an expensive foundation won't necessarily look better than an inexpensive one, we shouldn't judge if a person does love a $80 bottle. Test it out for yourself, experiment, and just use what you like and what works for you.
