I hope you enjoyed this cooking video! I love apple crumble and apple pie so much and with it being Thanksgiving and the Christmas holiday season I figured I could do a classic dessert to match! I swear desserts are the only things I like about fall and winter haha!

* INFO ABOUT THE RECIPE *

This recipe fits a large deep dish pie that can serve UP TO 12 people depending on your portion size. The larger portions you serve, the less servings there are.

Here is the list of ingredients you will need.

* For the Filling *

12 apples of your choice peeled and sliced
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 de-frosted pie shell store bought or homemade (optional)

* For the crumble *

2 cups light brown sugar
2 cups rolled oats ( not instant oatmeal )
1/4 cups ground almonds
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1 cup diced salted butter
