After I saw the work Nelly Recchia does with body paints, I was HOOKED! She is so amazing! When I saw her work on the cover of MAKEUP magazine for the "Wicked Royals" photo shoot, I was beyond inspired.
This was the first time I ever tried to actually paint using body paint... So I'm no pro, just learning. It was a lot of fun to experiment and do the whole process so I really wanted to share it with you guys.
The contact lenses I used were the white mesh lenses from http://www.CamoEyes.com
These were not the ideal "style" of lenses to do the complete white out eyes the model on the cover had - but in a pinch, it worked. Thank you to Chris @ CamoEyes for providing the lenses!
The crown was something I decided to also try to make myself. I used polymer clay, beads, paint, rhinestones, a hot glue gun, and a metal head band. If you want to see how I made it step by step, head over to my blog to see the post. Here is a direct link to the post: http://chiclipgloss.com/?p=2993
I used the Wolfe "Essentials" palette for the red, white, and black body paint used in the tutorial. I'm sure you could buy a tube of grease body paint from the Halloween store - this should work just fine.
I don't think CostalScents.com sells the white color corrector anymore, so I would just try to find a very light foundation. If you are naturally pale, the Vichy Dermablend in "Opal" should achieve a nice milky colored skin tone.
