Sunny days are finally starting to be more consitent where I live this spring but I've still been spending some time indoors doing a major overhaul of my closet and room with lots of cleaning and organization. I hope that some of the tips I've suggested will be helpful to you. Please share your own spring cleaning tips with me in a comment below as well!

P.S. By the way, I'm actually cleaning up some clutter while I upload this. Oops! I better listen to my own video and find a way to better keep my desk clean. I need help with that area most especially. Help! hahaha :)

--Purge everything from your closet and face your clutter! It's time for a reality check. ;)

--Divide into 3 Categories
-Keep
-Sell
-Donate

--Keep
-Be brutal with your sorting! Keep what you love and need.
-Establish a cohesiveness in your closet by using similiar hangers. This creates a clean, streamlined look.
-Divide into sections by color and type which makes getting dressed faster and referencing super easy.
-Use bins for small items and under-bed storage bins (example: http://amzn.to/iBU3mh) for shoes for items that traditionally create clutter.
-Use a hanging system on the back of your door to hang purses and hats (example: http://amzn.to/kkJ0WE).
-Don't overpurchase beyond the space you've designated for a particular type of item. If you can't store it, don't buy it!

--Sell
-Sell new and lightly used items on ebay, garage sales, and stores such as Buffalo Exchange (http://www.buffaloexchange.com/).
-Blog sales are another option that I didn't mention in the video but I've done as well.
-Also, not mentioned, swap items with your friends and family! Just make sure you ren't adding to your clutter.

--Donate
-Donate to shelters, Salvation Army, and other places that could benefit from your extra items.
