Show More Hey guys, I was recently asked to show how I cover my acne during the summer - so basically how I conceal my under eyes, acne and acne scarring and the products I use. The last time I did an acne coverage tutorial was at the end of 2013 so I thought I'd update my routine!
I've been using this makeup routine for the past few weeks now, and I absolutely love the coverage, the flawless finish and the skin-like texture I still have with the combination of these foundations. Obviously you can substitute the foundations to whichever you please and still take away the technique I use in this video, but I highly recommend these foundations. They're absolutely awesome and DO NOT break me out.
My acne has been improving dramatically due to my skincare, and using these foundations and concealer, it doesn't irritate or upset my skin, which is a huge bonus!

About the products:
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation - Despite it being called 'Sheer', it definitely isn't as it does provide lovely coverage which is excellent at concealing most of my acne scars.
B. Flawless Light Hydrating Foundation - This foundation is paraben free and cruelty free too, and this is an excellent foundation to use as like a Tinted Moisturiser. It keeps the skin hydrated and dewy, whilst providing that bit of coverage too.
Mixing these two foundations together really help to create a dewy, skin-like, airbrushed finish and I absolutely love this combination! The NARS Sheer Glow foundation is amazing through the summer as it has long lasting power through hot weather - so your face won't be melting through the day :P
Kat Von D Lock It Concealer - This concealer covers up the stubborn acne scars and discoloured areas, and I have been using this concealer for a year now! It's not too thick or heavy on the skin, and once you blend it in well with the foundation, it feel so light on the skin and continues to have that dewy finish :) Also the shade matches pretty well too :)
Maybelline FIT Me Powder 220 - My favourite powder EVER! Has not broken me out, matches my skin perfectly and keep my makeup lasting for a veryyyyy long time! It really sets my under eye concealer so it's perfect all day.

I hope you guys like this video and this tutorial, and I hope you take something away from this video - and that I've helped you :) This is my current foundation technique (and is the foundation technique I used in my icon).
You can use this to cover up cystic acne, pimples, blackheads. You can use the concealer on chest acne or back acne (if you're exposing those areas).
