Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)
After so many of you enjoyed my last review video I decided to uploaded another similarly styled video. At the end of May I was contacted by Irresistible Me about potentially reviewing a set of hair extensions. I've wanted to try out hair extensions for a while now so I jumped at the chance. Beforehand I had a scroll through the website, checked other YouTubers reviews and I came to the conclusion that this would be a good brand to show you guys. I had high hopes and I wasn't disappointed.
The company has a fantastic customer service. Maddy, who was dealing with me was extremely helpful and answered all of the probably 50 questions I asked her with regard to anything and everything to do with the extensions. I had never tried hair extensions before so I wanted to make sure I knew all about caring for them and so on.
The set I picked were the 'Royal Remy' style of hair extensions in the shade 'Royal Medium Brown #4'. I measured the length of my hair from the top of my ear to the end of my hair (as advised by Maddy) and the length was 22inches. I decided then that I would order the 22inch extensions as I just wanted to add some thickness and volume to my hair because I already had the length. The extensions range in length from 14inches to 24inches and with regard to weight, 100g to 200g. I think its fantastic that you can pretty much personalise your extensions length and weight wise and they also come in 14 different shades.

The extensions are 100% human hair meaning they can be dyed, straightened and curled. Bare in mind then you have to care for your extensions like you would your own head of hair. The less heat you use the longer you will get out of your hair extensions. I use a heat protection spray along with treatments on my extensions to keep them in tip top condition! When it comes to washing your extensions, how often you wash them will depend on how often you wear them. If you are wearing them daily and are using styling products I would recommend washing them weekly. I use a moisturing shampoo and a conditioner for damaged ends.
I have had my extensions for approximately 3 months and have noticed little damage to the ends of the hair, there is some slight splitting but nothing I am too concerned with. When washing the extensions I did notice a few stray hairs left behind in the drain but again, nothing major and nothing I'm worried about.
The next time I'm getting my hair cut at the hairdressers i'll get her to trim the ends of the extensions to so that they remain nice and healthy :) If you look after the extensions properly you should get around 9 months out of them, which for the price I think is fantastic.
These extensions, like majority of good quality extensions on the market, are expensive. Naturally the longer and thicker the set of hair extensions the pricer they will be. This particular set ranges from $129 up to $299. I don't think they are unreasonable prices for what you are getting. I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of trying out a different brand of extensions :)
My only problem with the extensions for me was the colour match, or lack of. The website has a really informative video showing you each of the different colours available and then compares each of the colours. You should be able to get a good idea of what colour would be a match from that video but if your like me and didn't not to worry. The company offers a returns policy. When you receive the extensions the envelope is divided into two parts, one side has the tester piece of hair and the other has your extensions. You open the side with the tester piece of hair and you colour match this to your own hair. If you matches, perfect! If not, leave the other side with the extensions sealed and you can simply return the extensions.
Like I said in the video the fact my hair didn't exactly match the set of extension wasn't a problem. I'll be dying my hair anyway and i'll most likely be keeping it brown, if not the extensions can be dyed as the are made using human hair. So I wasn't at a loss :)

The company were very kind and gave me a discount code for you all to use if you were interested in purchasing from them :)
