In this quickie video, I'm just sharing a close up of my afro textured natural hair as it is when in twists. I have clear shrinkage at the roots but there's also enough stretch that you can see my true natural hair texture.
Here are some answers to questions you may have:
What is your hair type? 3C mostly with some sprinkles of 3a at the nape and a small patch of 4a in the crown.
Do you have heat damage? No. I heat style my hair only once every 3-4 years and when I do, I don't go for bone straight and I use adequate heat protection.
Why do your ends look a little "fried?" Because I need to get a trim! They aren't as bad as they look. They are a little frizzy but I'm holding off on the trims until I finish the Hairfinity challenge.
My twists are what I consider to be smedium sized - not quite small but still small enough that they aren't medium sized ! Having fine hair, to put in really small twists (or braids) would be way too much manipulation. With fine hair, your hair is susceptible to breakage and I'm not having that!
Any other questions? Please feel free to ask! :-)
