Now, that we’re entering the holiday season, let’s look like a disco ball with a fully decked out lunchbox purse. The idea behind this is my love for vintage lunchboxes, they’re somewhat of a lost art, much like doorknockers, two things I love!

This DIY is not for the faint of heart, work your way up to this one since it will test your patience, if you’re a novice DIYer. It’s very labor intensive but worth every bit of time and effort. This is a perfect purse for New Year’s. It’s fits lots of stuff, even a hammie sammie! You’ll be the coolest kid on the block with this lunchbox!

TIP: If you decide to add mirror shards and chain to the back of the lunchbox, please remember that it he chain will easily snag on your clothes when you rub the bag against your body especially when wearing it with a purse strap. This is why I opted to keep the decoupage and add a pretty patch instead.

I paid $ 25.00 for the lunchbox, $8 for the rhinestone chain, $7 for the heart patch- $40 bucks, that’s it!
