Hi everyone! I thought you'd like this recipe for Trail mix and decided to share it with you. My neighbor gave me the recipe and it's so addictive that I had to make it so I'd have it in the house for those times when I want a healthy snack. If anyone tries this recipe, let me know how you liked it. Here it is: 2 cups raw pumpkin seeds, 1 cup of almonds, 3/4 cup raw sunflower seeds, 6 tbsp. real maple syrup, 1 cup dried cranberries (or dried cherries). Toss seeds and nuts w/maple syrup into a bowl, coating well. Spread thinly into parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake @ 300 degrees for 20-22 minutes, till golden brown. Afte removing from the oven, sprinkle dired cranberries on top and let it cool completely. After it's cooled, peel off the mixture into a large bowl; store in an airtight container. Tip: making two spreads of the mixture (seperated in the middle) makes for easier removal. Just fold the parchment paper in half and break it into bitesized pieces. You can also add a few handfuls of chocolate chips to this mix after everything cools, just for a nice flavor. Enjoy! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon! HUGS! xoxo :-)
