We love LOVE dutch style fishtail braids! Anytime we can incorporate them into a cute hairstyle we are excited! This is a super cute and easy hairstyle that we think you'll love!
We incorporated hair into the fishtail braid in the beginning, like you do in a french braid, but after pulling in enough hair to make the braid thick, we just left it as a simple fishtail braid.
ANYONE can do this hairstyle--if you can do a fishtail braid!
For this style we used:
10-15 minutes (if you curl your hair like we curled Aislyn's, to make her ponytail pretty)
One elastic and one ponytail
A one inch curling wand
A comb to part her side part
This hairstyle works well on medium to longer lengths of hair. For a shorter hair version, don't gather the fishtail braid into a pony, but just leave it hanging to the side and pull it wide.
