First of all I’d like to thank my niece, Jenni-Ri for loaning me the doll furniture and little dog. It’s a big deal to loan something out that you love when you are only 4yrs old.

Also, shout out to Wonder Woman and Marmalade for holding it down today. I just couldn’t

Anyway, yesterday I was very anxious and nervous about work.
I made all these plans and I was worried about things working out
Before I could get to the location we had torrential rains and I had to turn around and go home. All that worry and stress was for nought. Here’s what I learned

James 4:13-16 (NIV)
Boasting About Tomorrow
13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.

There was no need to be upset. We really don’t control anything or even really own anything. As Job says….
Job 1:21New King James Version (NKJV)
21 And he said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

In the end, I thanked God we got home safely. Thanked my family for their support.
