Just like food, you are what you eat. You eat healthy to have a healthy body and mind. Even if you are sick, eating healthy is the first thing doctors suggest to help you get better. If all you are eating is junk food, it shows.

Even people who can eat anything and don’t gain weight, can have clogged arteries and and other issues because of their diet.

Romans 15:4
4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

The same is true spiritually too. What are you feeding your mind?
My spiritual junk food was a lot of secular music, tv and book, I wasn’t really filling myself with anything that would help me emotional when I was in need. Not just during tough times but even in everyday interactions.

The bible is like healthy eating for your soul and it strengthens you when you need emotional strength.

Dealing with insults/misunderstanding
Financial hard times

Not conforming the the world when it seems the easiest way to get along.

I want to be spiritually fit so I am ready for dealing with everyday life and any storms that come my way.
