hi everyone and welcome to part II of my JOURNAL WITH ME series! the topic for this month is "is makeup art?" well i believe it is but the question is if everyone else can be convinced it is.

this journal with me episode covers everything from june 2017. this series in general is a mish mash of tidbits from my life, my personal thoughts and vlog footage from a specific time period, presented as a series of journal entries.

█ e p i s o d e 2 █

this episode is primarily focused on art and how i want to pursue a career in art...while trying to figure out if that's even an option for me. for some inspiration i also went to the minneapolis institute of art. it really inspired me and gave me some new ideas! but also along the way i express (as well as feel very strongly) frustrations about how makeup is treated as not a serious art form. maybe you can relate. maybe you can't. but i'm determined to make it an art form and do my very best to experiment with it in so many ways...gotta have goals i guess.

i really love making these journal with me videos, never thought i'd really like doing vlogs but...it's really a fun way to reflect and chronicle my quiet little journey through life ^_^

and i did keep my promise from last month to read more books! for june, i read a book called dreams of my mothers by joel l.a. peterson. it's a book about a half-korean boy who is adopted by a family in minnesota, so if you're into semi-biographical fiction you might want to check it out!
