Today's verse comes from Matthew 6:13 NIV
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

For me, sweet are the evil one! Darn you Boston Baked Beans!!!!!

Second verse Matthew 26:41 (NIV)
"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

I'm sooooo weak! And I should have prayed but I didn't because I wasn't truly ready to give it up. God can deliver us from temptation if we pray and ask.

Third Verse is from 1 Corinthians 6:19 NIV
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

I didn't get to read this one but we are temples of the Holy Spirit and we should take care of ourselves because we are precious in God's eye. He loves you and me!
That is why I am going to ask for God's help with my battle with sweet.
