hello everyone ✧・゚. today's video are some easy & cheap DIY bag decor i've created! https://bit.ly/2rH7DR0 i've been very inspired by nature, ferns, and flowers this summer (been really loving that aesthetic lately) so here are some experiments i've done on bags using fabric markers, extra fabric, and gel pens ^_^
hope you will enjoy! more details listed below.

for this video UnityStar llc was kind enough to partner with me on this mini-project. they sent me a set of their fabric markers, gel pens, and acrylic paints to help me decorate these bags. the fabric markers have dual tips and come in 21 individual colors.

for this video i only used the fabric markers and gel pens. had a lot of fun creating these, hope to create more soon :3 but i learned early on that you need to use a really light hand with these markers otherwise they can bleed. the markers are very versatile and last very long (somehow managed to color an entire bag with one marker). the gel pens are really nice too for adding in additional details.

this is easier than it looks. i used the brown fabric marker to create the background for the design, layering black fabric marker over it. the black one really doesn't bleed at all, even when you press down on it. the brown marker bleeds more, however. the fern design is pretty simple to draw, i learned how to do it by watching bullet journal videos of all things lol.

this bag was a bit tumblr-inspired; i saw a lot of nature drawing on tumblr that sort of resembled what i drew onto the bag. simply repeat drawings of flowers and ferns all over the bag, and then color in the background with any color. i have to say it does take a while (3 hours for me) but it's not actually hard to do.

this bag is inspired by the fern cutouts matisse made later on in his life. he's one of my favorite artists..so you know i couldn't resist eh. this is very simple; take any white fabric and draw the ferns using brightly colored fabric markers. i recommend looking at his art as a guideline. then simply cut them out and attach to any bag or backpack using fabric glue or hot glue.
and that's it ^_^ hope you enjoyed this video! i'm working on additional DIYs at the moment, so expect to see more stuff soon...
