hello! ʕ￫ᴥ￩ ʔ in today's video i will showing off the everyday makeup look i've been wearing lately, a simple korean dewy makeup routine for extremely shiny skin, shiny lips and a modified version of the plant eyeliner i wore in my rose of versailles makeup look :3 for more details, please read below!

█ m a k e u p █

this is the makeup i've been wearing lately when i'm not in shironuri. the makeup is very focused on mulgwang or 물광, which is just basically a very amped up version of dewy skin. i decided to make it even more ridiculous by using shimmer all over the areas where I would usually highlight, so I look extremely dewy and shimmery in person lol. i never do things with any sort of subtlety here, eh...

KEY POINTS→

♢ primer is very important here! use one that fills up your pores and enhances your radiance. in this video i'm using the YSL TOUCHE ECLAT primer, which helps fill in my pores and makes my foundation go on more smoothly - so it makes my skin look better :3 i've used this off and on for the past year (as samples because...i'm stingy like that), but YSL was kind enough to send me a full bottle of it last month. thank you YSL :D

if you're looking for a cheaper alternative, though, i recommend NYX's HONEY DEW ME UP primer. i think it's supposed to be a cheaper dupe of the YSL primer, but don't quote me on that.

♢ using a good bb cushion/cream also matters too. i like cushions because you can really apply a light even layer onto your skin...the downside is that they seem to run out fairly quick. plus i think i'm too dark for most of their shades right now (wish korean makeup brands offered a wider range of shades!!). boo urns.

but the cushion i'm using at the moment is the KLAIRS MOCHI BB CUSHION. this only comes in 1 shade and it's a bit lighter than my actual skin tone. i'm a NC30 in MAC foundation right now so it would probably match someone between NC/NW 20-25.

♢ for eye makeup uhhh do whatever you want! but you know me, i can't just wear a simple eyeliner. i did a different version of my plant eyeliner which i previously did in my ROSE OF VERSAILLES makeup look. this one looks more painterly...so whenever i open up my eyes it looks like eyeliner dissolving into paint splotches. this works best if you have small eyelid space/hooded eyelids though keep that in mind.

♢ for the contour i stick with cream contour since it looks more natural and will keep your skin still looking like skin. for the highlight i went with a roll on shimmer because it's very light on the skin and won't cake up...yet it looks extremely excessively shiny :3
