First HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEE J! I pray you are having a blessed day. Know that you are loved.


Last night I prayed that I would have the strength and energy to complete sculpt I was working on for my special fx makeup class. I was up until 12:30 at night and I had to get up at 4am for work. Plus it was that time of the month which normally makes me so tired I can barely function. That day I was so tired when I got off from work, my mom thought I would fall over. I prayed that the Lord would help me get my work done no matter how late I had to stay up and that I would not struggle the next day.


My alarm went off at 4am and I felt pretty good. I had a good day at work and took a nap as soon as I got home.

I was originally worried that I would not be able to make it because of previous experiences, but then I reminded myself that I serve a God that made the sun stand still! Check it for yourself in Joshua 10

Joshua 10:12-13New International Version (NIV)

12 On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel:
“Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”
13 So the sun stood still,
and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on[a] its enemies,
as it is written in the Book of Jashar.
The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.

So why wouldn’t I believe that God could give me strength and energy to complete my task. I server an all powerful God, yet the old me would have asked but would not believe.

Now I really believe. I spoke my faith out loud, that my God is a God of miracles so what I was asking was so easy.

The old me would have prayed but then worried about how tired I would be the next day and how much I would have to struggle through the day.
