I am tired but I had a good day.  Everything didn’t go right, but it turned out ok in the end.

Again, I had to let go of my day and give it go God. This is not to say that I didn’t do anything. I worked and will be working very diligently today but I know that in the end God is in control.

So I work hard and make my plans but I am not too attached to controlling the outcome. Which is how I used to be. Worrying and stressing over things I couldn’t control. Now I am learning to let go and let God. Which I heard before but never really understood until now.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Psalm 103:13-14 (NIV)

13 As a father has compassion on his children,

   so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;

14 for he knows how we are formed,

   he remembers that we are dust.

God knows that I am a fragile, flawed human being. The emotional stress I was taking on myself was taking a toll on me physically. The Lord WANTS to help me but I have free will to decide if I will ask for help.

I FINALLY ASKED FOR HELP! And boy what a difference it has made.

Are you asking God for help and trusting in Him? Or do you ask God and then stress out over what will happen next? I believe worry is a lack of faith. You worry because you do not BELIEVE that it will be ok.

I am sooooo tired of worrying and I am finally ready to give it to God. How about you? Are you ready?
