I don’t know if this make sense but letting go and giving my problems to God really changed my life.

BEFORE I said I was a christian but I was still trying to handle everything by myself and not getting very far.

Now I include in my life

Daily prayer,

Studying the bible

Being grateful

Being mindful of my thoughts, especially the negative ones!


It makes a huge difference and life is much easier than before.

Now, I still have tough days,

I still cry and sometimes worry,

but then I stop and talk to God honestly about what’s going on in my life and how I feel and I really try to listen and understand.

I remember to be grateful of the Lord and others and to check myself when I start complaining, feeling sorry for myself or blaming others.  

I google bible verses related to how I am feeling and

I talk to loved ones I can trust with my feelings.


I feel like the spiritual battle is an emotional one.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (NIV)

4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

The strongholds for me are things like negativity, worry, guilt and anxiety to name a few.  But I know that if I keep my mind on the Lord, I can be at peace.

Proverbs 3:5-6(NKJV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.
