I’ve been so caught up in my own goings on and so tired of the 24hr news cycle about our government chaos that I took a few days off.

With what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia, I can’t stay quiet, but on the other hand, I don’t know what to say when faced with such hatred.

I saw these verses listed on the protest sign here in Kansas City, Missouri. I love that people of all nationalities are coming out against the violence and gathered to share the message of love and peace

It’s hard to love in the face of such hatred but I am reminded of a quote
I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. Martin Luther King, Jr.
