Yesterday I was talking about faith and this morning as I was reading the devotional for the start of the 30 for 30 low and behold, they are talking about FAITH.

How Abraham took a leap of faith, even though he was 75 when it happened in Genesis 11:30, 12:1-8. Now Abraham was old and his wife was barren and had no child. So how is Abraham going to be made into a great nation when his wife can’t have no kids? Of course we know what happens
The bible says

Hebrews 11:12 (NKJV)
12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

So from an old man and a barren old woman, God raised a great nation of people! WHAAAAATT?!?!?!?

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Romans 10:17 (NIV)
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

So let’s encourage each other the read and stay in the word
AND DO 30 FOR 30 WITH ME! I mean, if you want to. No pressure

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct[a] your paths. ----------------------------------------------------------------
Relying on my own understanding is what got me in the predicament in the first place. So it makes sense to give it over to God.
