Makeup for Ever Matte Velvet Foundation Review

I was excited to get my hands on the new Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Foundation. I currently stock the Makeup for Ever Water Blend in my kit. I really enjoy Water Blend, but I wanted more coverage. This foundation offers that. The shade I tested was Y245 which is significantly darker than my skin tone. I usually wear R210 or Y215 in Makeup for Ever. This foundation was shockingly comfortable for a matte foundation. I did not test it for the full 24 hours, but I had it on for 8+ through rain, 90 degree heat, kids pulling on me, etc. and it performed well.
