for this challenge i decided to choose designs, colors, or other symbols to represent each major part of my 23andme DNA. the black and white scheme was no accident. i chose it because i have dna from asia and europe.

it took me around 3 weeks to paint all of the beads for this makeup challenge. each bead has a specific meaning, featuring paintings that are correlated with a certain part of my 23andme ancestry.

i also was selective about what i chose to include. i did not include any ancestry dna that was too vague for instance, like broadly northern asian and native american, since it's impossible to choose a symbol to accurately represent it. that's also why i didn't include anything regarding the western asian and northern african dna i have.
