HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.

4 PIECE DINNER SET:
* USE FOOD SAFE PAINT IF THIS IS NOT FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES
* Find a plastic friendly, food save gold paint. If you can’t find one that is plastic friendly, try roughing up the area with sand paper (not fine grit), to create texture for the paint to grab on to.
*Add small beads of glue under the pearls for a flawless finish
* You can try to string the dollar tree pearls then glue them in place.
* To keep the rope from tangling every second, I laid them out flat going 3 different directions. Use these measures and work with a smaller amount: the length of the braided rope used is: 55inches. Also, you don’t have to use 3 packs, I did it to keep thing easy since I didn’t know how much I would use initially.
*When finishing off the braid, they are many ways to do this. I just went with the flow and tried to keep it as flat as possible. Share your ideas in the comments!

* BUYING IN BULK: Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. MATERIALS (From Dollar Tree, see exceptions):
Faux marble plate
Gold charger
Pearls on string (amazon, 10mm, 22 yards for $15)
OR
Dollar tree pearls 3-4 bags 12 mm or 7-8 bags 10 mm
Krylon metallic Gold spray paint (hobby lobby)
Double sided Foam stickers
Dry erase marker
Nail polish remover and brush
Foam board
3 packs Nautical rope
Optional: napkin ring, burlap, charm and dollie
Something sharp to cut
Hot glue (large one from amazon, small one from hobby lobby)
OR
Stronger glue
Something to write with
Tape
Ruler
Foam or cardboard
Binder clip
