HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.

Cotton Fringe Candle holder:
* When you pull the twine through, hold the ribbon so it doesn’t lose it shape (it will stretch out and not return if you don’t)
* Remove the sticker from the bottom if you have one
* Try adding tan beads or make knots on the bottom of the fringe
* I used 45 pieces of string

Gold and Blue Lantern:
* DRENCH the paper with water and allow the paper to naturally slide off. If you rush it, the tattoo will break apart.
*Be careful when scrapping off the excess, you might scratch the glass

Pistachio Lotus Flower:
*BEFORE GLUING, place your LED candle holder in the center for reference. You can trace it to ensure your fit will remain the same.
*LED ONLY, unless you’re not painting it

The Fail:
* Use a pattern with less lines. The less detailed the better.
* USE AN LED CANDLE ONLY, paper is flammable!

* BUYING IN BULK: Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. Glass vase
Ribbon
Cotton twine
Pillar candle holder (optional)
Blue glass lantern
Gold tattoos
Sponge
Emperor’s Gold
Foam balls or small gems
Water
Bowl
Pistachio shells
Cardboard
Faux snow
Metallic Gold paint (micheals)
Something sharp to cut with
Hot glue dispenser (large one from amazon, small one from hobby lobby)
OR
Stronger glue
Something to write with
