HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.

Pistachio Shell Mirror:
* For the last loop, you will have to firmly place them inside if you cant find smaller shells. Just use the glue to create the position you need. You can do this by adding glue inside the openings and underneath to keep it in place.

Bamboo Table Top Mirror:
* 2-3 sets will be used depending on the shapes of your sticks. you might have to filter through 3 packs to find the right sizes.
* You can leave some of the blue peeping through the brown paint if you would like
*When adding glue in between the bamboo, use a light hand to prevent the glue from showing

Wood Panel Fringe Mirror:
* Add Mod Podge over the paint to prevent chipping
* Glue the fringe on top of a non-stick surface for easy clean up
* instead of painting , add 2 more layers of fringe underneath the first one and create a tiered look.
* To prevent the wood from splitting, firmly press on the wood and cut slowly.
* if you use a t-shirt instead of the rug, pull on each piece to make the curled like the ones form the rug.


* BUYING IN BULK: Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. For my wondering minds :) I’m a big city girl, but my parents are from the country, and I spent many summers and holidays at my grandparent’s house. Farmhouse décor is more than decorations for me, it’s nostalgic! None of my grandparents are physically here today, so filling my home with decorative memories leaves me feeling like a kid again! Papa Bear and Zari enjoys it too.

MATERIALS (From Dollar Tree, see exceptions):
9” circle
White paint
3 mirror candle holders
2 paperclips
2 small pieces of cardboard
Pistachio shells between 80 pistachios (HUGE GUESS)
Table top décor piece
Sand paper
Brown paint
2-3 bamboo wind chime sets
Rag rug or t-shirt
Something sharp to cut with
Hot glue dispenser (large one from amazon, small one from hobby lobby)
OR
Stronger glue
Something to write with
