Good afternoon everyone!!! I hope you all are doing well. I just want to start by thanking everyone from the bottom of my true heart, for your honest support, and LOVE you’ve showered me on this very special day.

A special thank you to my awesome Producer Jerry Xiong for bringing this song to life!!! I would not have been able to do this without the hard work, sweat, time, and love he’s put into making this song!!! He is truly the most talented person I’ve ever encountered! I have so much love for this man, and he does not get the recognitions that he deserves, so please, if you can, go show him so love for his beautiful creation!!!

Today I share with you a song I wrote about 2-3 years ago, not knowing what I know now, that my intuition was to write, and share my life experiences through music. What inspired me to write this song was when I was at my lowest point in life. I was garbage in my eyes. I felt I’ve lost a part of me, and had turned into an ugly person. In life, we do so much for others, and forget about ourselves. We love everyone around us, expect our own. We attach ourselves to people who can never make us whole, but we do it anyway because we are afraid to be alone.

As I journey through the transition from being a “We” to an “I” I notice how lonely the road was for me, yet I keep going. I didn’t understand why I was scared at the time because I kept searching for someone to accept me, to help hold my hand, and most importantly, for me, to LOVE me. But as I continue this journey, I found a reflection of me that I didn’t recognize. A reflection of a sad and weak person, so unhappy. I had lost my inter light, all because I felt that no one will ever accept me as me. I fell in depression, anxiety, and mentally lost.

It was dark and scary road I took, until I started to convince myself to look deep inside me. You know that saying, “you don’t know how to be strong until strong is your only choice”, and let me tell you, that was my turning point. I finally found the light in me that I’ve always had. I took this light I found with in as my guidance through this dark road. Sure enough I found LOVE! Not the kind of love you find with another person, but the kind that you find within yourself. With that love, it fueled my light to shine brighter, and bigger. As it radiates through my entire body, I finally know how LOVE felt.

LOVE is loving yourself, taking care of yourself, and most importantly being kind to yourself. So where ever you are in your journey, I know you will get there. Only when you love yourself completely, and know who you truly are, will you find someone else’s love incredibly TRUE! Just like that saying, “You can’t love someone else if you can’t love yourself.”

I wanted to release this single on my birthday because today, I am REBIRTH! I have found “ME” I have found my light, and I have found LOVE! I hope you enjoy this song, and hopefully my story can help guide you to finding your TRUE SELF! You are enough, you matter, and you are most importantly LOVED!!! Thank you!
