In hopes of having my work accepted in an art magazine, I created my latest shironuri makeup transformation, called Annabel Lee, after Edgar Allan's poem of the same name. The goal was to express what I felt in the poem - sadness, longing, and the free-flowing nature of water - into a cohesive makeup look. I hope to have an additional 3-4 looks created before I submit them all for consideration. Fingers crossed it works out!

No inspiration for this although my trip to Washington last year helped me a lot. I wanted to use lipsticks from Anastasia Beverly Hills to add depth to my white foundation. Layering white foundation on top of this allows me to paint precisely what I want without relying too much on powder products, which I've been avoiding lately because my skin is really dry and irritated.
