It's unfortunate that as a woman I've felt unsafe and threatened so many times I couldn't even keep count. I wanted to create a day to share some important knowledge about self-defense, how not to be a target, and what to do when you do become a target with some of my blogger friends. I also wanted to make this video to bring attention to the subject and hope to inspire you to be more aware of your surroundings and to even take a proper self-defense class.

Remember the physical techniques shown in this video are only a last resort and must be practiced with a professional.
