October 2018 was the month I finally set off with the Mental Health Foundation on a trek along the Great Wall of China. We spent 6 days in total walking along different sections of the Great Wall of China, from 6th century to 16th century.
It's been 1.5 years in the making and a completely life changing experience. From testing myself emotionally and physically, to meeting the most amazing people to experience it all with.
In total, I've raised around £3,250 for the Mental Health Foundation and it is the best thing I've ever done. Not just because it is in support of a cause I feel very passionate about, but because it was something I would never have been emotionally able to do just a few years ago.
