HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.
*If you are not exclusively using Dollar Tree gems, here is the information on mine:
- The discounted gems in the video were 50 -70% ($2- $3 for 50) off at hobby lobby and JoAnns.
- The crystal trim was from Amazon- $8 for 11 yards!
- The beaded necklace or string was from Christmas at hobby lobby (50% off, 2 for 18 feet or something).
- Flat back pearls (larger ones) from hobby lobby, 50%, $8 for 1 pound. You can also try large pearls from Dollar Tree’s eyeglass cord (shown in the video at 1:07)

* Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. MATERIALS (From Dollar Tree, see exceptions):
Something sharp to cut with
Hot glue or other
Wax tool
Large and small Gems and Pearls (dollar tree and bulk, see note above)
Painters tape
Silver spray paint (plastic friendly from Micheals)
Beaded necklace (dollar tree or hobby lobby)
2 sheets of white paper
2 Wall stickers
