I’ve teamed up with BeLonG To LGBTQ+ Youth Services to discuss the importance of speaking up when you’re struggling mentally. Instead of discussing some past issues that I’ve faced, I thought it’d help others to talk about issues I’m dealing with now, as a 25 year old.
Show More I’ve teamed up with BeLonG To LGBTQ+ Youth Services to discuss the importance of speaking up when you’re struggling mentally. Instead of discussing some past issues that I’ve faced, I thought it’d help others to talk about issues I’m dealing with now, as a 25 year old.

I lost my grandad suddenly, nearly a year ago, and learning to live with grief and the sadness that comes alongside it has been really difficult and challenging. I opened up to my girlfriend quite early on in our relationship about my struggles and it really benefitted me - and us - in the long run.

BeLonG To’s #BetterOutThanIn campaign is here to encourage young LGBTQ+ people to speak up and discuss their problems with someone they trust.

Remember: a problem shared, is a problem halved.
