HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.
*DIY #1: the final product does lean a little bit forward. You can place a small piece of hot glue underneath to balance if this happens.
*DIY#2: I redid the project because the rings were forming into a plate vs a bowl. You can also try a greased bowl vs a balloon.
*DIY #3: the bubble wrap looks better if the air is gone from the bubbles. It add more texture! See which way you like best!
* Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. Wax tool (amazon)
Large and small Gems (dollar tree, walmart- over 1,000 for under $3 and bulk, see note above)
2-3 square mirror candle holders
2 jumbo plastic toy rings
Pillar candle
Balloon
Bubble wrap
Candle embellishments (ribbon and charm from Joann 50% off)
Double sided tape, optional
Acrylic Gems (Dollar Tree and amazon- acrylic clear ice rock crystals, 3 pounds $16_
Silver spray paint (plastic friendly from Micheals)
Glass vase
Ruler
Toilet paper rolls (3)
Magnetic mirror set
Wax paper
