Today we are reviewing and doing a demo using the NEW James Charles and Morphe Unleash Your Inner Artist Palette. I was actually kinda nervous to post this once the look was complete because I knew that no matter what the outcome I would definitely be pointing out any issues I had and I would also point out any great things I experienced. Sometimes when you come out and speak on certain products you can’t win. If the review is too glowing “you are lying/kissing up” if you don’t like it “you are a jealous hater”. Thats why I took the time to shed light on all sides of this pallets somewhat problematic brief history. I hope my words are understood and not taken out of context and you guys get that I truly just wanted to share my personal experience and opinions with no kind of working agenda.

I also want to clarify to you guys after wearing this look for several hours and removing (i use the Sephora brand eye makeup remover) I did not experience any issues with staining of my lids or lash line.

I want to also elaborate on what I said about collabs and the influencers responsibility/role. Because when I went to watch the footage back I kinda let my sentence run on to itself. I am TOTALLY aware of and think you guys should be aware that while I flat out just don’t think it is fair to blame the influencer, I do acknowledge that there are TONS of incentives for them to take collabs and that ultimately they on some level have to be willing to accept the risk of that product not being well received. Life is about the choices we make and the consequences that follow. As I said there are bad and good sides to everything. But at the end of the day we are not privy to all the inner-workings of a contract between company and influencer so who KNOWS what things they themselves aren’t happy with and would change and may not have ability to do so or speak out on. I just don’t think it would hurt for everyone to take a step back and realize ITS JUST MAKEUP. If it looks fishy…don’t buy it. We all vote with our wallets. LOVE YOU GUYS!!
