Hi babes! I had to shoot this video. There has been A LOT of buzz around collagen drinks, shots, & supplements. I had to get to the bottom of it. I did a lot of research and spoke to a few doctors and medical professionals I know to get their professional opinion. It seems the research is clear....there is little to no medical evidence that drinking "collagen" works. I do believe the collagen drinks are beneficial in providing our bodies vital nutrients it needs to ultimately help stimulate collagen production. I just dont think its giving our skin "collagen" like we think it is. Not to mention collagen supplements can come with a hefty price tag. I think attention should be drawn to creating healthy eating habits and having a well rounded diet. Eating things like lentils, veggies, quinoa, etc.. Foods that will provide our bodies the vital nutrients it needs to stimulate collagen production. I hope this helps :)
