HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.
*For DIY #1, you can glue them to the bowl but I wanted a frameless look. The oil prevents any hot glue from sticking. Carefully use pliers and a scrapper to ease the bowl from the plastic. USE CAUTION!!
* For DIY #2, the candle holders work great without a bottom. DO NOT USE REAL CANDLES IN THESE HOLDERS. The mirror tiles are adhesive but glue helps the hold.
* For DIY #3, add glue to the foil and not directly to the plastic. After spray painting the surface was very delicate and scratched easily, so keep that in mind. I ised the gems to cover the rough edges on the top. You can use a mini iron to smooth those out. The broach was from a chain I purchased from Joann for 70%. Remove the marker before paining

* Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. Hot glue or other
Cardboard
Something to write with
Gems (use dollar tree of bulks, see note above)
Plastic friendly spray paint (micheals)
Diamond wrap
Plastic wrap
Plastic bowl
Oil
Acrylic gems (5-6 bags)
Pliers and scrapper
3 toilet paper rolls
3 Mirrored mosaic tiles
3 led tea light candles
Ruler
Recycle plastic jug
Foil
Dry erase marker
Painter tape
Wax tool to pick up gems (amazon)
