Over the many, many years I've had acne, I've struggled with popping and squeezing my pimples. I know, we are all prone to touching and squeezing our spots! It's hard not to touch them, especially if you're female or want to wear makeup. Having a big, white spot poking through your foundation is NOT CUTE.

But I know it's really bad and harmful for my skin, and can cause permanent damage.

Today, I hope I've shown you why squeezing your acne is a bad idea. Especially if you have cystic acne. Cystic acne can go quite deep into the skin, and take a long time to heal by itself. Trying to hurry the process along by squeezing it can cause scarring. Try not to touch your spots!
