♡ HOW I GREW MY HAIR LONG ♡
► I stopped bleaching and dyeing my hair completely.
► I stopped using heat (curling, blow drying, straightening) my hair everyday.
► I stopped washing my hair everyday. I now wash my hair every other day and use dry shampoo on the days that I don't wash my hair.
► I switched to a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner.
► I use a clarifying shampoo once a week to remove build up from hair products. I recommend using a deep conditioner afterwards.
► I only use shampoo on my scalp. I never apply shampoo to the ends of my hair, only conditioner. That way the ends of my hair don't get dried out.
►I don't brush my hair when it is wet. Your hair is weaker when it's wet. I always wait until my hair is almost completely dry (I let my hair air dry) and then I brush it. Always brush starting from the ends of your hair and work your way up.
► I started taking Biotin 5000mcg which helped both my hair and nails grow.
► I always trim around 1 inch off my hair when I start getting split ends.
