In this DIY Gift Ideas for $1! video, i started with 2 kid friendly easter baskets. One could be for a boy and the other for a girl. I filled them with fun and delicious things kiddies would love. You can add cellophane wrap as well. The dollar tree sells the shrinkable kind too, just use a blow dryer to shrink the wrap to the basket! Everything including the sparkly tutu is from Dollar tree! Yes, you heard that right! In this DIY Gift Ideas for $1! video i showed you how to easily put it on! I filled this basket with some basic that you can find at Dollar tree for infants. You could also add BPA pacifier and teether from Dollar Tree. Maybe make a prince crown out of foam paper- from dollar tree and place on the outside for a boy. A teen approved easter “basket” is the fourth one in this DIY Gift Ideas for $1! video! Since some teens think they are too grown for a cute little basket, give them an Easter themed gift bag! Dollar Tree had different patterns as well! As you saw in this DIY Gift Ideas for $1! video, I filled it with fun things teens love - lots of girly stuff in this one but for more ideas try adding slime, putty, more candy, sports and work out items, and electronics in a gift bag.

This final one in this DIY Gift Ideas for $1! video is a do it yourself easter basket from scratch!! I still cant believe how great this turned out!! I used an old cloth easter pail as a pattern to create this new one!! Similar to recreating a dress or shirt from an old one - break down the unit and use the individual pieces as patterns to create something new!! As i showed in this DIY Gift Ideas for $1! i use a place mat as the foundation of this basket!
