Liquid eyeliner can be a really motherf*cker. So I said to myself hey Nicole, how about you do a video of your top five winged eyeliner tips that could help people who are struggling? And then I nodded at myself in the mirror and turned on the camera (shh it's not weird) I mean realistically, I already learned by trial and error, so why not help some of you guys skip a few of the error part, ya know what I mean?
There are a lot of tips and tricks that specify things like "follow the shape of your bottom lash line" or give step by steps on what shape to do, but realistically those tips are going to work for some people and not others. Our eyes are like special snowflakes, they are all shaped differently. So I decided to paint these tips with a bit of a broader brush, and give you guys some ideas on steps you can make toward working at it and getting better over time. I wish there was a magic tip that I could give you to say "do exactly this and get perfect liner every day!" because that would be much easier for everyone (and quite frankly wayyyy more clickbaity, am I right?) but it's just not realistic.
So I hope you find at least one or more of these tips helpful in your quest for sharp liner. There are a lot of winged eyeliner tips out there, so hopefully some of these are new to you. AAAAAND if you guys have any winged eyeliner tips leave me a comment and tell me about them, let's share the knowledge!
And while we're here, here I included some winged liner looks from the archives in the blog post for this video, because now that you're gonna slay your liner you need some inspo right?
