I hope you are having a wonderful winter break and you had a nice holiday if you celebrate at all. I haven't spent much time filming tutorials or any videos for about a week but I did have a bunch of random clips that didn't have a purpose or a home that I would normally delete. I thought I would share them with you instead of trashing. Much like the video I made for you guys this summer of all my beach travels.
This time I tell you the story of how I cut the tip of my finger off and what happened afterwards, I show you some clips of me geeking out and replacing the digitizer on my iPad, and then I share with you a behind the scenes look at how I think about my YouTube banner and social media branding. The last clip was the day before Christmas and I was driving to my sister's house just after our dinner at my dad's. We had a huge dinner with all of my family and I was going to help my sister at her house. On the way through we passed Willoughby Lake which we swam at everyday in the summer when we were kids. For some reason the fog and the monochromatic scheme was brilliant to me so I stopped my car at the beach and shot a small video. I thought that was as good as it was going to get so I got back into the car and headed back on the path to my sister's house. At the south end of the lake there is a fishing access and wouldn't you know it about a gazillion ducks all lined up by the shore. I had never seen so many all at once it was an amazing scene I was glad I was there for.
I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year! Love Michelle
