Protein Sensitive Natural Hair is usually protein sensitive because it does not need extra protein.You most likely have Low Porosity, but as with anything that does not have to be the case. Low Porosity hair's cuticle layer is tight and actually does not easily allow water, or anything for that matter in. Adding products with hydrolyzed protein would only make matters worst. So here is a regimen that uses products that do not include protein in the ingredients.

This study (https://goo.gl/GhEoIT) talks about how hard it is for protein to actually penetrate the hair, even hydrolyzed protein. The protein has to be really small to actually penetrate the hair and have an adverse effect on it. But again, everyone's hair is different. Do what works best for you. And remember, it's almost impossible to avoid protein completely.Oils can contain protein from contamination, and how it is pressed. A lot of companies don't list how their oils are pressed. So there's no way for you the consumer to truly know how the oil has been pressed. But just know the protein in it is not hydrolyzed, is probably minute and can not penetrate your hair.
