LOW CARB LASANGA RECIPE:
INGREDIANTS:
garlic: 3 cloves
onion: 1/2
Turkey: I used a whole container of ground lean turkey
squash: 3
crushed tomato: 1 can
Cheese: 1 container of ricotta, 1 bag of mozzarella, deli slice cheese on top (optional)
basil: 2 tbsp chopped
1 egg
olive oil
salt, pepper, garlic salt for flavoring

STEP 1: cook on the stove in a pan with olive oil: onions, garlic, basil, 1 can of crushed tomatoes and lean ground turkey until cooked
STEP 2: I used 3 squash and you want to slice them long (like in video) and sort of cook them on the stove until slightly brown. Then take them off to dry with a little salt (around 10 minutes) reason I put paper towels on them in video is bc they are very watery so you want to soak that up as much as possible.
STEP 3: make your cheese mixture. I did 1 container of ricotta cheese, 1 bag of skim mozzarella, 1/2 bag of parm cheese and 1 egg. Blend together in a bowl.
STEP 4: make your lasagna start with the turkey mixture, then squash, then cheese and continue to alternate until your ingredients are gone. I added cheese on top (like deli meat cheese) but thats optional. It'll give it more of a cheesy top if you do it :)
STEP 5: BAKE for 20 minutes covered in tin foil. Then take off the foil and bake for another 10 min. ENJOY
